Privacy Policy

This is a personal design portfolio. It collects as little as possible: there are no accounts, no advertising, and no selling of data. The only information I receive is what you choose to send me through the contact form, plus anonymous, privacy-friendly traffic stats.

What I collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, your message, and an optional company name. That's it — only what you type in.

Anonymous analytics: the site uses Vercel Analytics, which records aggregate visit data (page views, country, device type) without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. It doesn't identify you personally.

Standard server logs: like any website, the host (Vercel) processes basic request data such as IP address and browser type to serve pages and protect against abuse.

How I use it

Contact-form details are used for one thing: to read your message and reply. The form has a spam honeypot and a simple rate limit, so an IP address may briefly be checked to prevent abuse — it isn't stored long-term or used for anything else.

Where it goes

When you submit the form, the message is delivered by Resend (an email-delivery service) and lands in my inbox, which runs on Microsoft 365. The site itself is hosted by Vercel. Those providers process the data only to deliver the message and serve the site. I don't share your information with anyone else, and I never sell it.

How long it's kept

Your message stays in my email as long as it's useful for our conversation or record-keeping. Ask me to delete it and I will. Analytics data is aggregate and isn't tied to you.

Cookies

The site doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies. Any storage it uses is functional only — for example, a short-lived key in your browser's session storage that helps rate-limit the contact form.

Your choices

You can ask me what information of yours I hold, request a copy, or ask me to delete it. Just email jake@jakereategui.com and I'll take care of it.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
